August Calligraphy Class

There are still a few spots left in the morning and afternoon Introduction to Modern Pointed Pen Calligraphy with Meant to be Calligraphy on Sunday, August 23rd. This will be the third time Becket Hitch is hosting these classes and they are always so much fun. It's a great chance to get insider information from one of the area premier calligraphers. I took the class this winter and have used my new skills more times than I can count.

Recently I was scrolling through Instagram and noticed that one of Stephanie Bradshaw's fall brides had hand lettered her envelopes. They looked wonderful and I was so impressed. I was pretty sure that I recognized the pen and ink well in the photograph as some of the great supplies that you leave the workshop with. It turns out that indeed the woman had taken the calligraphy class and with continued practice was able to achieve her goal of addressing her invitations.
