Summer Survival Soiree

Come celebrate the start of summer with us during this private shopping event. Stock up on all the things you might need to survive a summer at home, possibly with children. Grab your girlfriends and enjoy a night out sipping on cocktails, noshing on nibbles, winning door prizes and enjoying a few minutes of freedom! This event is free, but it is ticketed. Bouquet Class with Petal and Print

Whether you just love flowers and placing them about your home or giving them to family and friends, this class is for you.  We’ll cover construction basics for loose organic bouquets using the best blooms Spring has to offer! 

Learn different floral varieties, how texture, color & scent contribute to a design, and the importance of using seasonal ingredients. Leave with your bouquet & the knowledge to design and create more at home. 

Grab a friend, or meet some in the class, the night will be filled with cocktails, fun laughter and learning. Tickets to the event can be purchased here, or in the shop. 

Open to all levels of experience.

Contemporary Pointed Pen

In Introduction to Contemporary Pointed Pen Calligraphy you’ll learn how to create the nuanced thick and thin lines that set pointed pen lettering apart from regular handwriting with Meant To Be Calligraphy. Plus, you’ll go home with all the materials you’ll need to continue practicing and showing off your new lettering skills.

 

Modern Brush Lettering

In Introduction to Modern Brush Lettering you'll learn how to use brushes, brush pens and different types of ink and paint to create gorgeous brush lettering with a modern twist with Meant To Be Calligraphy. You’ll learn how to create the expressive thick and thin brush strokes that set brush lettering apart from both regular handwriting and modern calligraphy. Plus, you’ll go home with all the materials you’ll need to continue practicing and showing off your new brush lettering skills.

Makers Market at Green Spring Station

Green Spring Station along with Baltimore Style Magazine, Taken, and (cool) progeny, will host a holiday marketplace featuring Baltimore’s most talented artists and crafters as they ‘set up shop’ around the center in this inaugural one-day Holiday Makers Market.

Girls Day Out at Green Spring Station
Tissue Paper Garland by Becket Hitch

Join Kohli Flick and learn how she created Becket Hitch’s much sought after tissue paper garland that premiered in her shop last year. Utilizing simple tools that you already have at home Kohli will walk you through how to make your own garland to add a bit of whimsey to your holiday decor. Participants will leave with a length of garland and a wealth of ideas on how to translate this simple technique into their own home.

DIY Workshops must be purchased in advance. Purchase a Girls Day Out Pass and select the workshop of your choice!
